An Intuitive Process
Cindy Chiang is an abstract artist from Fort Langley, BC, inspired by the flowing beauty of nature. Growing up near water, she captures the movement of oceans, rivers, and skies, often revealing hidden details upon closer inspection—what she calls "a painting within a painting." Her evolving, intuitive creative process is influenced by her observations, emotions, and music, infusing her work with whimsy and imagination. Cindy’s art reflects her optimistic, rose-colored view of the world, incorporating elements from her outdoor adventures and the emotions these experiences evoke. She finds great satisfaction in creating a connection and sparking joy in others through her artwork. Cindy loves experimenting with different styles and mediums, as seen in her "Departures" series, inspired by her travels and mid-century modern art.
